A. One day I woke up and realized, this is my life. I'm not going to let anyone determine who I am or what I do with my life. I'm going to conquer and rise above what I lived through. I won't be another statistic that says children who grow up in dysfunctional families grow up to raise a new generation of dyfunction. Bottom line...determination. Of course, it helps if you have someone to talk to. See a counselor, join an online support group, talk to a friend. You have to put it behind you to truly be successful in life. Doesn't mean you have to forget, just cope.

A. well in hong kong you have mandarin,cantonese,englis h and there are plenty of international school like german swis and french international school (FIS) In fis you can choose to learn mandarin or Latin But you must do enlgish,french,spanish FIS got the top marks in the whole of asia for IGCSE'S

Is it possible to be a successful insurance agent without having to do public speaking?
Q. I'm very interested in going into this business, but let's just say I would, if at all possible, like to avoid holding seminars or doing speeches. I'm a very hard worker and a friendly person, and I'm just wondering if you can be successful selling life and/or health insurance without having to do seminars and such. I've read that most of the successful people do those things, but you can you achieve moderate success without it? Has anyone become successful without having to do those things or knows anyone who is successful without doing those things? Thanks in advance!

A. Yes, to be successful you have to speak in public. If you are fearful of public speaking you can do one of two things: Go to a Dale Carnegie Course. These are expensive but in a few months you will be a wonderful public speaker. Second, try joining a Toastmasters club. This is very cheap and there is a very good chance in a few months you will be a wonderful public speaker. However, success eludes about 20% of the people who join Toastmasters. Find a local club at www.toastmasters.org Being able to speak to people is an essential part of selling. The sooner you overcome your fear of public speaking the sooner you will be successful.
